Appointments are not necessary to look at gowns; however, when you are ready for alterations an appointment with our seamstress is required. |

How long goes it take for a gown to come in? |

Most gowns are made overseas. Due to the detail needed to manufacture a gown, and the time required to transport it to our store, an average of 10 - 12 weeks (3 - 4 months) is necessary to receive your gown. We typically recommend that your order be placed at least 5 - 6 months prior to your portraits so plenty of time is allotted for the order process, as well as any alterations you may need prior to you wear date. |

Can I get a gown on a rush? |

Depending on the designer of your gown, it is possible to receive your gown sooner. We will be happy to discuss these options, as well as any applicable fees, upon your visit to our store. |

Do you sell samples, or have gowns in stock for purchase? |

Yes. We can special order your gown, or you may purchase the gowns we have in stock. |

Do you have plus size samples? |

Yes. Many of our vendors can be ordered in a variety of sizes, and we have samples of gowns ranging from a size 0 to a size 30 in stock. Also, we have two vendors, Unforgettable by Bonny and Signature Plus by Private Label by G which specialize in cuts for a fuller figured woman. |

How much do your gowns cost? |

Our regular priced wedding gowns will start around $300 and go up to around $2500. We do have a clearance rack with gowns starting at $99. |

Special discounts are often available to bridal parties. Please speak with your consultant for details. Also, we do have various in-store promotions throughout the year. Please fill out the “First to Know” form on our website to be included on our mailing list when these promotions are available. |

We accept all major forms of payment. We will be happy to discuss financing options with you in our store. Typically a 25% deposit is required for layaway and 50% of your purchase is required before an order is placed. |

The Bridal Cottage does not offer refunds, exchanges or store credit. All sales are considered final. |

Can gowns be shipped? |

Our vendors require the gown be delivered to our store. This protects you, our client, and insures your order is exactly what you expected. However, after inspection we can ship your gown on to you or a member of your bridal party. UPS shipping rates will apply. |

Do you do alterations? |

Yes. Because no two people are shaped the same, your gown will probably require some tweaking once it arrives in the store to insure the best possible fit. Our alterations are done on-site by a full service alterations staff. Set at a very reasonable price, there’s no need to worry about your gown. Personal attention and quality service is given to each and every gown. Our reputation is built on our highly trained staff to meet the unique needs of your formalwear purchase. We offer a full range of tuxedos for the men in your party. We also provide a full range of shoes, veils, headpieces, jewelry and lingerie for you and your bridal party. Aside from attire, you can find a large selection of invitations on programs, as well as gifts for your attendants. Don’t forget the small details of your day! We offer complete lines of flower baskets, ring pillows, aisle runners, garters, gloves, handkerchiefs, cake toppers and many other details for your event. |
